On my new-to-me '81 H36 with Yanmar 2QM20, the PO had installed a high output alternator with separate regulator.
Unfortunately this was not hooked up to the warning light and I am unsure of how I should do this/ what I should connect the engine end of the original wire to.
I would appreciate any advice anyone can give.
