This outboard came with the boat when I bought it this spring and I was wondering if an alternator was standard with this model or how I could tell if it has one? 1996 Mariner 9.9HP 4-stroke electric start
you will probably find in your owners manual that it recharges your battery thru the wires that supply the juice for starting. Probably the charge is around 14.2 volts and 5 amps. Hope this is true and helps. Ray
