Alternative to Raritan C.P.

Normally we would cross the border to the US a half a dozen times a year to see family and friends and also as part of our PNW cruising grounds. While we were there we would pick up items that are less expensive or hard to come by in Canada. One of the items that is next to impossible to acquire in Canada is a toilet bowl cleaner, recommended by the Head Mistress, from Raritan called Cleans Potties (C.P.). So after 2 years of not having crossed the border, I started to research a suitable replacement and came across a product manufactured by Zaal. The same folks that gets rave reviews for their Noflex Sewage Digestor. The cleaner is "Zaal Scale Removing Gel Formula Non-Foaming Toilet Bowl Cleaner". I had not heard of it before but I thought I would give it a try and picked up a bottle at a local chandler. I figure if the product is half as effective as the name is long then I'll be okay.
I would like to hear from anyone that has used or heard of this Zaal cleaner and maybe give a short review about it.

Slightly off topic. Zaal NoFlex Digester works well, however, Camco makes a product that works as well or better and is less expensive. (amazon link, also available at Walmart and many RV stores.)

For those of you who may not know, Raritan CP Cleans Potties is a part of the product line that the company I owned developed and sold to Raritan...so I'm intimately familiar with it how it compares to other products. And IMO Zaal Scale Removing Gel Formula Non-Foaming Toilet Bowl Cleaner may even be a better bowl cleaner. Or... you could clean the bowl the same way I did before CP existed: a little Comet or other powdered cleanser on a sponge or paper towel. I kept a sponge and disposable gloves under the sink just for this job. A cupful of undiluted distilled white vinegar flushed all the way to the tank, followed by about a quart of clean FRESH water after 45-60 minutes once a week will prevent scale. But NEVER leave vinegar sitting in the bowl...when soft rubber (joker valves) are allowed to soak in vinegar they swell and distort.

Thank you Peggie. You are always a reliable source of information. I always feel just a little more knowledgeable after i read your posts.
I would like to add that Zaal recommends that you allow a day between use of the digestor and the cleaner so the efficacy of each is not reduced by mixing. Where as Raritan states that C.P. is a bioactive cleaner that uses no chemicals and it won’t kill the bacteria in K.O.
As an aside, I have just noticed that Raritan is selling a product called Cleans Hoses (aka C.H.). That's a lot of containers (3) that need to be stored and used for a specific task. I like the commonly stored items on a boat that you suggest, that being powered cleaner and white vinegar

Raritan CH is just their private label branding (for a much higher price) of a product called SewClean (that's "sew" as in "sewer," not sowing). There's no reason to keep it on hand 'cuz you shouldn't need it unless you allow mineral buildup to accumulate in the discharge hose, which can be prevented with a weekly dose of white vinegar used as I described in my previous post.
