Well the boats bottom is painted the rest cleaned and shiny. No more white butt when ya sit on her. Decided on new name but won't rename her till next year. Going from "Family Tradition" To "Syndrome" Before and after pics of repair and one of shiny boat included. Also came up with a mast raising system for her. I will post it in the Mods sections if I can figure how to do so. Good weather to all. and thanks for the help I have gotten here. Greg

Greg -

Excellent job on the repair. It looks great! Enjoy the season.

I'm still a couple of weeks away from splashing the 25 (at least I got my mooring ball in). I did sell the O'Day 222 after only about 2 weeks advertising on this site. Thanks Phil for running such a good site. It reaches a big audience.

Well I am ready to splash not sure when. Its 380 miles to the ocean from here and money is tight. Like to go down and spend a week Don't cost anything really once I get there. Will cost $150 a month to store it there if I am not on the water.

Fantastic job Greg. It looks better than mine. I didn't even polish it before I launched her last week. Penny and I have already went on our first overnighter on it. We anchored in a different cove this time to get away from a cold North wind. It was a bit chilly in the morning when we woke up. I'm hoping that the weather will get a little warmer so that I can take a shower in the cockpit before I hit the sack at night.

I caught a small Striped Bass out there the next day and had to throw him back. I'm hoping to catch one 28" or larger. As long as it's a keeper I'm not too choosy. You can see the new Fall River drawbridge in the background. It's 60' high and it's due to open next month,---I hope! Maybe if I'm lucky, I won't ever have to deal with drawbridges again, thank the good Lord for small favors.

You have put a lot of work into that boat. Now you deserve to have some fun. Lynn and I went out this Friday night and had a good time. But I still have a few things that I'm not happy with regarding sail handling, but that's another thread.
Best of luck and have fun!
