Can anyone comment on how they did their repower? It seems really tight at the openings. Did you disassemble the engine? Cut bulkhead?

Glad to have found other Alden 44’s! Ours is Leona Marguerite, moored North Saanich BC, CA (north of Victoria). Here is a pic from Desolation Sound.
