albin viggen

I sold my vega several yrs ago, great boat.
My question is, Are they any Albin viggens around the US that are for
sale?
Or do I need to go to Sweden? This little boat seems so neat.

Hi,
I think they\'re a neat boat too. According to production numbers on
this site:

there were 1200 made.

I\'ve never seen one listed in YachtWorld, which covers most brokers in
N. America and Europe.

There is a Viggen web site at Albin- och Karlskrona Viggen

If you open the "Om båten" menu at top and scroll down to "TEKNISKA
DATA" there are drawings of two different versions of the Viggen:
one keel like the Vega and the other a fin keel with skeg-mounted
rudder.

They look like a Vega that was shrunk a bit!
