Hi

My name is Andi. I saw your e mail and hope that you could give me some info. I am not in the market for an Albin cause I am restoring one. Could you please give me any info on your mast being in a tabernacle. I want to do the same and come up with some kind of raising and lowering system so that I can trailer the boat. Thank You

Hello Andi,

My Mast is in a stainless steel tabernacle stepped in the original postion on
the cabin top. A Stainless steel axel is at the base of the mast through the
Tabernacle and mast base. My back stays and and rear mast shrouds have large
stainless steel pelican hooks that allow me to unfasten them. Iuse the main
sheet to raise and lower the mast forward. A Harness is attatched to the end
of the mast and the lower end of the center shroudes to p the mast from
prevent the boom from swinging port or starboard during the lowering process. I do
not remove the mast as I had the system installed to get under a bridge on my
way out of the harbor.
