My exhaust manifold became exhausted last year where it connects to the head pipe. Unfortunately it can not be welded and will need to be replaced. If anyone has pearls of wisdom, photos, directions for said operation it will be most appreciated.Andrews/v Victory AV715

Hi Ric,We have replaced manifolds over the years by just building a new one out of Stainless-Steel. If it was my manifold, I would pull it off and take it to a machine shop. They will mill the parts needed to bolt back up to the block, some shops will bend and weld the heavy walled SS for you. If not, a tig welder can do this for you, he will use SS rod. If you are worried about heat, warp the new manifold with titanium exhaust tape. The nice thing about this retro fit, is the inside walls of the SS will let the exhaust side right out with little to no build up. I would make the ID of the new pipe larger than the factory size. That’s is my two cents.  Sent from Windows MailFrom: ric@...Sent: ‎Monday‎, ‎April‎ ‎7‎, ‎2014 ‎6‎:‎17‎ ‎PMTo: AlbinVega@yahoogroups.com
