Has anyone had an experience with AirForce sails especially with the asymmetrical spinnaker. I am thinking of purchasing one and they seemed to be very competitive.

AIR FORCE SAILS

Feb. 7, 2001 Dear Frank, You might want to take a look in the archives under Air Force Sails. There was quite a lively discussion on them about a month or so ago. Fair Winds, Brian Pickton of BeneteauOwners.net aboard The Legend, Rodney Bay, St. Lucia

Air Force

We have bought two asymetric spinnakers from H.O.W one made by Doyle and one by UK and they came with the dousing sock included, it will have to be purchased seperatly from Air Force. Check with Air force about some minor things like our sail came with an adjustable leach line double or triple stiching on the seams. We also recived a symetricle spinnaker from Air force for Christmass and it seems to be a well built sail. Andy Hansom Hunter 380 Vanishing Point

Air force Sails

Frank, I have purchased two asymmetrical spinnakers from BON One was for my Catalina 27 (UK)and the other for my Beneteau 361(Doyle). I have to say that first of all their service was incredible. That, to me,is more important since I know if there is a problem they stand behind what they sell. Second, both sails came with the dousing sleeve and the quality is excellent. Lastly, their prices were really good. I have to admit I don't know much about Air Force Sails but am really happy with teh two crusing spinnakers I have had Good Luck Charlie Gruetzner S/V Angels' Grace
