I had a hose come off my electric hot water heater (Seaward/Atwood electric on a 1988 Catalina 30). Got the hose replaced, but now I apparently have air in either a water line somewhere or in the heater itself. Anyone have any tips on how to get air out of the water heater, assuming it's there? I've opened the faucets and run a lot of water, but still seem to have air somewhere. No leaks that I can find or detect. The cold water side behaves properly. However, on the hot water side, it seems that the water pump has to cycle on/off repeatedly until some "air pocket" is compressed. The owner's manual just says "fill the water heater" but I can't see how air could easily be bled out of it. If anyone knows of a way to bleed the air out of a Seaward/Atwood electric hot water heater, please let me know.Regards,Gary KunkelCatalina 30 "Folie a Deux"Channel Islands Harbor, CA
