I am a new owner of a 1984 Irwin 38 MKII. It has no air conditioning and I would like to add it. I do not know which or how much would be best for thos boat. Can anyone share their experence with me in this area? Thank you.
Our A/C was installed in our 1988 CC38 at the bottom of the hanging locker located next to the nav station. We actually gained useable storage space by installing a removeable shelf over the unit. We used the cockpit drain thru hull for the water pick up (cockpit is fully enclosed).
