We have certainly talked about it
Tom: Where do you live?My son and I have talked about adding air conditioning to our C-22, many times. Usually when it's hot and sticky and we can't sleep. When we are sleeping on the boat and and water is condensing all over the inside from the cold, we usually forget about it for about another 9 months. You are right about not needing it at anchor. Usually with the front hatch open there is a nice breeze moving through our boat. This summer, I brought my wind scoop out of the attic and that helped too. A friend of mine showed me that a fan over the front hatch can really help, so I bought a 13 inch fan, and mounted it with 2 dowels, 4 little wooden wheels as stops, and 2 pieces of bungie cord, so that it sits on top of the hatch's flange. This helped plenty too. Next year, I will increase the size of this fan to 20 inches, which will completely fill the front hatch. Anyhow, I think if you are planning on keeping your C-25 forever, you might as well put the A/C in as soon as possible, so you get the most enjoyment out of it. If we don't get a bigger boat when my sons move out of our house, I'm sure we will add A/C to it. I'm also sure that it will be one of those things that we will regret not adding sooner. Aldo
