We are seeking help finding a year 'round slip for a 53 foot sailboat, somewhere in or around Narragansett Bay, or within 40 miles of Boston, either way.
Our preference would be a small, privately owned dock or marina, sort of out in the boonies, so to speak. I've done one winter in East Greenwich, RI and really enjoyed that (and the winter price), but I'm guessing that won't be possible during the summer?
Eventually, we will be trading down to a 40 footer or less, and I'd be perfectly happy to go stern to a finger pier or wharf (with power and water available) in the mean time.
Thanks in advance.

Try Wickford, RI. There are three marinas where boats lay over the winter with liveaboards. Portsmouth RI also there is a large yard where boats store wet over the winter. Don't know the names off the top of my head, or slip availability but google does. :)
