Hi fellow 38s5 sailers. I have a question regarding space to do the following since I am in Vancouver and Sayamanda is in Trinidad:
2 6volt Trojan AGM to be installed forward of a 3GM30 Yanmar installation.
The Trojans are 10 1/4"L 7 1/8W 10 3/4"H so the total space needed is 20 1/2"L
7 1/8"W 10 3/4"H.
This Beneteau has a battery space designed for a starter battery just forward of the engine and aft of the companionway steps cover. Will this configuration fit keeping in mind that AGM batteries can be installed at any angle so a tilt towards the cover is not a problem? Thanks for any and all input.
