I have the AH 6000 in a 1988 Hunter 35. It appears to be a factory install and works well. The HL 35 has a walk through stern with the rudder yoke mounted just below a cover over the yoke/cable run from the Edson pedistal. The AH linear servo arms projects through the stbd stern hull/access side in this walkway (looks like a 2" hole). There is a rubber according boot cover on the servo arm from the walkway wall to the servo attachment lug on the yoke. This servo arm boot cover is on the verge of coming appart because of age, type of material etc. Need a replacement - any help on where to go to order the rubber according type "boot" for the AH 6000 servo arm ?? Several of the earlier post indicated that the main AH 6000 computer has a software upgrade. Based on the fact that the computer control box could be of the vintage year 1988 or so, is a software upgrade available for this computer/control box ?? And last: I have the extension control box with the long cable. It will not go into a manual. Can this extender control box be repaired ?? Appreciate your interest. BD

The boot you are referring to was not supplied by Raymarine. If Hunter does not have a recomendation, then you might try an industrial supply house like grainger.com for some gasket type materials. Your unit will not have any software upgrades. The upgrades you have been reading about are more than likely for Course Computer manufactured from the early 90's-present. Unfortunately, we have very little parts availability for course computer built prior to 1990. If it has a problem, then it would be worth your while to have a technician take a look at it.
