Can anyone answer the following questions related to electric outboard
trolling motors on a Vega:
-How fast would "40 pounds thrust" push my Vega?
-Does anyone have experience actually using an electric outboard on a Vega
or similiar boat? If so, would you be willing for me to phone you for a
5-10 minute chat.
I'm mostly wanting it for manuevering inside a marina, but I'd also like
to be able to negotiate a narrow channel if needed--say, 30 minutes at 3
knots.
