After Spotless Stainless?

I polished the stanchions on my boat with Spotless Stainless - they came out great. But after about two weeks some rust spots started reappearing. So I am wondering what to do - retreat with Spotless Stainless?? Apply paste wax?? Something else??

I have had good success with spotless stainless. It seemed to improve after a few days or a week. I have spot treated a second time in some cases. It seems the more I use it the longer it lasts and the less rust that returns.

I loaned some to friend and his stainless turned dull and it all needed to be hand polished afterward. It sort of tarnished the stainless. Have you had that experience ?

I used it with good results as well. Was thinking, perhaps coat SS with 3M rust cleaner after Spotless Stainless.
