I have a Yanmar 3QM30 in my boat. The Heat exchanger is not a Yanmar brand but is located on the rear of the engine and is an aftermarket brand. Does anyone know who makes this heat exchanger or where I can find something to fit.

The after market heat exchanger is most likely a Sendure unit. The replacement heat exchanger unit is their 2553-1-5 and it sells for $308.00. Marine Diesel Direct would be happy to fill your order. Dependent on your problem, a good automotive radiator repair shop may be able to fix you up.

Gordon, What is the real cost to install one.

Gordon: What is a realistic cost to convert an engine w/o a closed loop system to a closed loop system? How difficult is it to do?
