Here's some info that may help
Joe,I believe my O35 is rigged the way you are suggesting. Starting at the foot of the mast, the main halyard goes thru a mast collar block on the starboard side, then to a deck organizer, and finally aft to a rope clutch that is positioned so the the winch on the coach roof can be used if needed to hoist the last couple of feet. (The mast collar blocks that I have came from Garhauer, and that's the only place that I've found to get replacements.) By the way, most of my lines from the mast are routed that same way, including the topping lift, the jib halyard and two lines for reefing. Some are on the starboard side and some on the port. The deck organizers and the rope clutches are for multiple lines. Hope this helps.Ed
