Aft Head

A while back someone said that the aft head intake on their 42 was under the aft bed. Mine is up in the main cabin which makes for a long ways to pump the water used to flush the head. Can someone who has it under the bed tell me how it is routed? I want to have as short of run as possible. It looks like you maybe able to run it under the cabnit next to the head, but want to make sure before drilling any holes.

42 Aft Head Pick-Up

We had a 1994 P-42 (hull # 156). The sea-cock pick-up for the aft head was / is under the forward, starboard corner (closest to the head) of the bed. The line runs from their under the floor boards directly to the head. Hope this helps.

My aft head fresh water pick-up, is also located at forward corner, starboard side of aft berth......

Hose

How do they run the hose? There is the step along the side of the bed. I pulled the board up but was unable to see if it was hollow under it.
