Greetings All::::

Here's an odd question,,,, we have a LEAK in the aft cabin of our 84 31' Hunter,,
Obviously, Port Side,,,, aft of the Genoa Track and slightly aft of the Cock Pit Drain Hose that clings to the aft cabin top -- seemingly coming along the hull,
when I REMOVED the OLD "Monkey Fur" (Hull Liner) I removed a track running along the hull and a couple of funnels and tubing,,, I was told by the previous owner that this was Factory Installed,,,, I can't imagine,,,, and ANY thoughts on where this leak is coming from, have not found an obvious point of intrusion,,,, and BEFORE I install any additional items into that "Black Hole", it needs to be DRY!!

many Thanks,,,,

suggestion

Even if someone with the same boat experienced the same leak, that, in and of itself, shouldn't lead one to believe it is a common problem. Leaks can, as you probably know, travel before becoming apparent.

The suggestion being to get out the hose and identify the source yourself.

By the way, funels and tubing are not original equipment...

Slightly confused!

Coyote:

I had a 1985 Hunter 31. I don't know about any "cockpit drain hose that clings to the aft cabin top".
