Advise on 250 wing Keel

I am about 2 weeks away from picking up my New Catalina 250 Wing Keel. I could use some advise on launching this boat. Anyone discovering any quirks about this model while under sail i would love to hear from.I guess it comes down to what you have learned about your boat?I just traded in my mighty Pearson 30 so I could scale down and avoid wild yard fees and other unsavory yard problems.

OK I'm listening! Here is another issue I am curious about. I want to put the controls for the OB (Honda 9.9) side mounted in the cockpit. I was just told that they will not be able to do that as it get in the way of cockpit lockers. A very expensive option proposed by the dealer is to install Edson controls on the pedastel with the wheel. I love it but the cost runs close to a grand. The last and least liked option is to go without the controls and control the OB throttle and gears at the tiller. I don't like that option alot. I don't think it's a good setup when you are in a crowded waterway or looking to dock the boat. Any suggestions?
