Advice on Emergency Tiller (1993 Hunter 30)

I'm about to purchase a 1993 Hunter 30. It seems in very good shape, except that there's no emergency tiller. The seller said it didn't have one when he bought it. Nor is it a standard part available from [FONT=&quot]http://hunter.sailboatowners.com/.
[/FONT] Anyone have this model year H30, who can advise what the emergency tiller looks like, or where I can get one (or have it fabricated)? Even better, an estimate of the cost?

You may want to contact some of the H'30 owners (private message) from the same era and see if they can take some measurements/photos. I am sure that you can have one fabricated.

Got your msg. My boat has the emergency tiller. It will be a few days before I can get you some pictures. Been spending the last three days as the hospital (ICU) with the wife. May be moved to a room today!! My boat is near by, so going to the marina to get the pictures will easy after I get the wife home. Have a Merry Christmas. Well send more later.
