How, on Earth!..., can you get at the refrigeration unit to clean or check it? mine seems low on 134a. I'd like to leak test it or at least, look at the connections. Clean it? It seems like a Houdini design! Any suggestions?

do you know where the compressor is mounted? Not much to inspect in the cold plate (the photo you took of the white part in the icebox).
