adjusting stuffing box

I'm having a terrible time trying to adjust (tighten) the prop shaft stuffing box. The floor structure is perfectly positioned to block my attempts to get two wrenches on the unit, which I need to do to break it loose and tighten it (it leaks way more than the recommended 3 to 6 drops per minute). I've heard that someone out there may have a special tool to do the job, or perhaps someone has another idea.
