Adjustable Genoa Cars on h36?

Before I go reinventing the wheel, has any h36 owner converted to adjustable Genoa cars that you can control from the cockpit? Seems like some sort of system of eyes would be required to guide the car lead along the deck to the cockpit. I installed the Garhauer EZ system on our h30 and miss it dearly. Would have kept it had I known it was compatible with the h36's Harken T-track...
TIA

Garhauer makes a system that should work - we have it on our 356 - just let them know the track size you've got

I have a used Garhauer EZ glide system for sale on E-Bay. It fits a 1-1/4 inch track.

I am interested in this as well. To be able to adjust the genoa cars under load would be a big help. Like having a traveler for the genoa. As has been mentioned in other posts, it is worth some though to consider whether it always best to run everything to the cockpit. Maybe better to have an autopilot take the wheel so that you can spread some of the line controls out and move around the boat a little bit. With genoa cars in particular, you will not need to be constantly adjusting them.

I had the optional cam cleats that Garhauer sells. I was able to control the cars from the cockpit using them. Jerk up on the line and it comes out of the cam cleat adjust and then pull the line down to deck level locking it back in the cam cleat. I took them off my old boat to move them to my new boat because I loved having them, Unfortunately, the new boat has 1 inch tracks vs. the 1-1/4 inch tracks they are designed to fit.

Thanks Kevin, I had those on the h30 and they worked well. One less hole on the deck for a bulls eye would be a good thing. But adhesives are so good, I have wondered if a guide like a bulls eye could be bonded to the deck... Dan

I used the swiveling cams from Garhauer - on the 356 the tracks are on the cabintop and the control lines are easily workable from the cockpit. Garhauer makes a 1" and a 1 1/4" version, so just measure your track

The cam cleats mount to the very back of the track. No need to put holes anywhere in the deck. I'm not sure you could mount a guide back by the cockpit as that wouldn't allow to jerk up on the line to release the cam cleat or pull it low to the deck to re-cleat it,
