I have received a new/replacement teak panel for the swim platform on my B411. Could use advice on what adhesive to use. Don't think 5200 is a good idea. Boatlife caulk will be used to trim exterior circumference.

For heaven's sake don't even consider using 5200!

I removed the teak panel on my 323, completely cleaned it and the fiberglass surface beneath it. To re attach it, I used the highest quality exterior grade construction adhesive I could get. A full bead around the perimeter about an inch inside the edge and a parallel stripe every couple of inches on the rest of the surface, then attached and weighted the entire panel down with a couple of bags of water softener salt I happened to have. After the adhesive cured, I used black boat life caulk around the perimeter. It has not detached in 3 years since I did it.

I have used some of the 3m adhesives and had very good luck, doing it the way Doug M did. I used dive weights and such. But his process works well.
