Adding insulation to refrigerator

In December, I'm going back to my Beneteau M405 in the Virgin Islands to spend the season exploring down island. The refrigerator is seafrost engine driven, and has plenty of capacity -- too much, but it doesn't keep things cold enough, perhaps because it isn't full. I'd like to add insulation inside the box. What should I use? I would prefer something that I can buy here (where it is cheaper) and take there to install. Thanks for your suggestions.

Fridge Insulation

Susie If you have that kind of room in your box (and FEW of us do), and want to buy stuff in the islands, just stuff as much styrofoam inside as you can fit, and along the sides. That may be the only inexpensive insulation material you can get down there. Anything else that's commercially available here and/or "higher tech" is gonna cost an arm and a leg down there. Other choice is to get some great thinsulate type insulation (thin, space-age, high insulation value) and take it in your luggage. Your boat, your choice. Stu
