I want to add a chartplotter to the boat. The pedestal is not made anymore, boat has two instruments on the pedestal. How/where can I fit a C80 or such on this boat?

Navpod

I have a 40.5, and I added a C80 onto my pedestal guard. The way we did it was to take out the guard that was forward from the wheel and replace it with a guard made by Ocean Equipment, the same people that make the Navpod. We had to cut some of the length off the legs and the stainless was 1 1/4" instead of the 7/8's, but I got it to fit in with no problem. By using the Ocean Equipment guard, I could use a Navpod, which really makes for a clean installation. And with the larger tubing, the wires are all inside the guard.

You can always have one made.

Dubh:You can always take the existing one off and have someone bend one for you. I think that if you call Edson, they have be able to accomodate you too.
