Added plywood layer below to firm up floor, less squishy now. Half inch, doubled in some spots. 48x70inch main panel, with bit by rear berth extra. Used paper template made by laying it down and cutting shape. Toilet door should still fit if remove bottom rubber edge. I'm happy. D

I'm happy. but actually me using 2 layers of what is called "1/2 inch" plywood but is bit smaller, these 2 layers do NOT really leave enough room for bathroom door to swim freely. So I'd say 3/4th of plywood is the maximum height that can be added even if remove door bottom rubber piece.

Next time in year I may junk these and go 3/4 inch 1 layer.

I think my boat got flooded a lot so turned inside floor and floor glue squishy, so I got a good price when I bought. Old boats!!. Ha.

The H26 leaks from the companionway hatch slides. There are rubber stops in the slide-grooves and if they are not caulked, water gets into the ceiling liner and runs down the walls and pools on the floor near the head door...

The best way to prevent this is a companionway cover. Put a tennis ball under the cover to make a small pitch.

I purchased my companionway cover right here at the SBO store. Give them a call.
