Not a H28 but I can tell you that the plumbing is dead simple, particuarlly if you want just cold water, which is typical. The hardest trick is tapping into your cold water distribution manifold... Maybe by tee-ing an existing line. Put a valve there and run quality marine water hose to the transom. Finish it off with one of these...

If you are in a cold clime, I can tell you that these things will freeze WAY before you would start to worry about the rest of your plumbing. Be sure to turn off the valve. If it breaks you pump your entire water tank into your transom area, and them burn out your pump.

I would also take a look at SSI. They have an assortment of cockpit shower units.
I use mine on our HV'36 all the time. The dog also does not mind getting rinse job either. Ours is the two knob version with hot/cold.
