I am interested in adding a bimini to my 26.5. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get one or do I have to have one custom made. Is the low boom a big problem or can it be overcome? Does this limit headroom very much? Thanks for any input.

I don't know where the previous owners purchased or commissioned the bimini on my 26.5 but we love it. It has a standing height of six feet which does interfere with the boom when going windward but is okay with the boom out for running with the wind. The best part is we have an extra piec with windows that zippers to the front edge and snaps to points ahead of the hatch. The hatch holds it up in it's up position and it's like turning the entire cockpit into another room.
