Hey Hunter owners with an ACP Hull. I need some help fixing my boat
The prior owner of my boat over tightened the thru-hull bolts for the shrouds that go into the side of the hull. This led to an indentation of the ACP and a 1-2" crack leading from the bolt hold.
Do I simply drill a hole to terminate the crack and just fill in with Plexus? What about the indentation? Do you think that is weakened as well? Would you grind out the whole area, wet out some fiberglass and lay in with some plexus?
Wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't in such a high stress location.
Or are these hulls stronger than I think and just seal the crack....silicone the bolt and call it a day.
