In the January 2000 issue of Sailing, Bill Schanen editorializes the visionary concepts used in the design of Hunter sailboats, particularly the HC50. His praise is aimed at the contributions of Lars Bergstrom to this design and to the fundamental sail design concepts. Many of us enjoy the B&R rig (with the possible exception of sailing directly down wind). If you get a chance, you should give it a read. You won't mistake it for any of the Hunter threads on the Crusing World Bulletin Board. I had a chance to see the HC50 at Annapolis and it is everything he says. It's nice to know Hunter continues to innovate and those who sail them will continue to benefit. I've certainly enjoyed the three I've owned.

Good read!

Read the whole magazine two nights ago but skipped the editorial. Then last night I spotted the "H50C" in the text and decided to see what Bill had to say. Great commercial for Hunter.

Cruising World Review

If you get a chance you may want to catch the recent review of the Hunter 460 in Cruising World. Compared with most Hunter reviews they were positively gushing. Seems like the rest of the sailing world is finally starting realize what we Hunter owners have known all along. Hunter gives a lot of boat and reasonable quality for a great price.
