Access panel for impeller change

The boats are all built slightly different, but here is my panel for my HV'36

Bent nose pliers are helpful along with some lube when reinstalling the new one. Yanmar has a new tool that is supposed to help R/R the impeller (Yanmar OEM only)

I posted how to do it, look in the archives. I did it on a 376; the 380 is the same with trivial modifications.

We did not need to add an access panel on our boat but the raw water pump is facing the wrong way on the 3GM30F.
I added the Speedseal kit, http://www.speedseal.com/speedseal.html and I'm very happy with this modification. You might want to consider this modification. It takes about 10 days shipping to get it after ordering by phone. So far we have not had an impeller failure.
