I bought a 1984 Hunter 34 boat that had AC installed from the cockipit area so there are vents to the salon but not to the v- birth. I would like to run the AC to the v-birth so it is comfortable to sleep since it is Africa hot in South Louisiana. Does anyone have a good suggestion how to do this?

AC in Hunter 34

I haven't tackled that one yet, but it is on the list.. for the last 10 years i have been using a small fan placed on the floor in the passageway to the head, blowing the low cool air into the Vee birth. attached picture shows the AC in the aft setee .. duct comes out below sink, to starboard into the hip level storage area below the sliding doors; turns up and to an outlet grille just aft of the tie rod.I think I can run an insulated 4" duct forward to the head bulkhead, then up to the space below the deck then forward along the space under the deck and through the vee birth bulkhead, terminating in a round directional outlet.. It will require some woodwork to make it look ship-shape. One shot is of the AC in the setee, the other is under the sink, showing the 6" insulated duct running to starboard.
