Someone asked for pix on venting of portable ac on my 23.5 Hunter, finally remembered them.8000 btu unit cools the boat great.Never use rear birth so unit sits there, vent it out window into cockpit, unit exhaust real quiet so no problem with other boats compared to hatch units. It,s a Amacor unit $150.00 on Ebay.to attach fitting to window just added longer bolts at ends with t straps to hold fitting tight .At ceiling put a loop of sunbrella around exhaust hose with velcro at ceiling.

That's awesome what brand is that. I recently bought a Mac 26 and I'm thinking of getting something like that was it hard to set up?

I had something similar on a 28' Beneteau and there was so much heat from the vent hose, it made the unit almost useless. Instead, I made a second set of hatch boards and used a window unit. It was cheap, worked fine.

Not only the exaust hose acts as a heat radiator but the air expelled creates a negative pressure condition which draws warm , humid air from the outside into the boat. These results in a rather high degree of inefficiency requiring a much larger capacity unit to render adequate results. Here in the hot and humid Florida climate they simply do not work.
