My boat has two AC/Heat units, one in the main cabin and one in the aft cabin. Both are Dometic 16k Turbo units. About two weeks ago I put both units on dehumidify. A few days later I was back on the boat and the aft cabin unit control panel alternated between "AC" and "LO", or AC/LO. The manual states if a unit detects that in coming AC is below 100 V for three minutes it shuts down to protect the circuits and displays AC/LO.
The dealership service manager said he is hearing multiple reports of the AC/LO issue. He believes the draw on the power companies is so high due to the heat in the area the line voltage is dropping. He implied the arrangement of the wiring of the two units would make the aft cabin unit more prone to this.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any solutions?
Doh! Should be LO/AC.
