ac install

i just scored a 12k reverse cycle ac unit at a marina yard sale.
I am looking for options for the install. I am thinking the front settee and using the head thru hull for seawater. any and all advise is welcome photos of your install including duct runs are very welcome.

I built a shelf under the nav deck, installed the unit there and built a cabinet around it. The pictures are right after the job. I oiled the teak a few times and the color matched the rest of the cabin in a week or 2.

In 34; unit in aft bench of settee, starboard. Duct led outboard under sink then up into the cubbies under the "sliders", then up to an outlet on the upper shelf. Don't have pix of outlet vent, but may get that later this week. Your plan sounds good. The holding tank in the 34 is in the forward settee bench, so the unit had to go aft with the water heater in the other bench.. Not an easy job, but OK if ya think about it a while..
