I noticed that the AC condensation is overflowing the pan under the unit. There is a tube which I traced to a brass? object which is inline with the ac water line which pumps overboard. The brass object is labeled marineair condensator. Is this supposed to pull the condensate out the tube? If so it isn't working. Do these things go bad? help. :)

thanks

Probably has some kind of debris in it causing a plug.. There are no moving parts in it..Take it out and squirt water thru it backwards .. look inside .. clean it .. should be fine.. Lots of times, algae or mold will plug things in the AC condensate circuit.. Good luck with it !

I just found some more info in the website. It creates a venturi effect and pulls the water out. I guess I will pull it out and make sure it isn't clogged.

thanks

Mermaid recommend spraying the coils with a mixture of calgon and water. I did this and the condensation all but stopped.
