Hi folks, I've enjoyed being on the forum for the past several years and sharing my experiences and learning lots from everyone else. We are retiring our 2004 216 (for us). She was a great learning platform for us; everything from sail knowledge to upgrades/repars to general boat education.

She's a great boat and would do well on a protected lake or river, just not so well on the Chesapeake - not so happy in the chop & waves.

Again, thanks everyone for all the guidance! Its been a pleasure.

We actually bought an S2 7.9. We want to find a club or folks interested in sailing them and not just give it to anyone. We spent a lot of time and effort with this boat.

Evidently, that was removed from my previous message bc it was soliciting. Anyways, we are sad to let her go, but very excited about our new adventure.
