Well trying to bring a very badly oxidized top side back to some resemblance of shine. MS your post is exceptional I must say. Being in Alaska most products suggested there are not available here. and shipping cost make some things just to expensive for me to afford. So my question comes to collinite 885. I bought rain dance canuba wax, As the only other I could find in town Was Mothers canuba wax and cleaner, and boy is it hard to get wiped off after drying. Is this a characteristic of canuba wax or just a bad product? Thanks Greg

With real carnuba wax you don't let it fully dry and apply with a mist of water. Once it starts to haze you wipe it away. Rain Dance & Mothers will do okay but will not likely last as long as Collinite. The "brand" car waxes like Mothers & Rain Dance are usually loaded with silicone so they just are not as hard and pure. Even Collinite is not "pure" carnuba but it has very, very low silicone content compared to most.
