Coast Guard Rescues Man Floating In Atlantic WESH.com 11:24 a.m. EDT June 29, 2007 DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A Longwood man has been pulled out of the ocean after falling overboard from his boat and swimming for seven hours without a life vest. Russell Alger, 65, was spotted by search crews floating six miles off of Daytona Beach, WESH 2 News reported. The search was initiated after a military helicopter saw his boat running without anyone onboard near Daytona Beach. The boat eventually washed up later in Flagler County.

Luck is in the eyes of the beholder. I think in this case, she may have started out on the not so good looking side (falling in), but it soon became 2 AM and the bar was closing, she was then the most beautiful woman around (after 7 hours treading water with no PFD).
