Hi All - I just wanted to send thanks and appreciation to you for all the useful information that was provided in response to my request this past January. We just returned from a week of chartering a Beneteau 393 from Desolation Sound Yacht Charters in Comox, B.C. The weather was warm and sunny (little wind, but that was o.k.), the boat was in very good condition, and the experience of Desolation Sound was exceptional. We had no trouble with current, the tide was very managable, and all the people we met were pleasant and helpful. It was a cruise that we shall not forget.
