O'Day 37 CC Windsor Lake St Clair
Hello All,
I've just purchased a 37' 1980 O'Day Center Cockpit and I was wondering if there are any quirks or things with a 37' CC that I should be aware of? In my opinion it is in great condition and the recent survey concluded the same thing. I know that the 37 CC was very popular with the Charter Companies because of the room and separate aft cabin.
Is there anything you long time O'Day Owners can speak to?
Thank you

Welcome JB to the site and congrats on your new boat.
I've only sailed on the 37 once so I don't know if there is
anything unique to it. All O'Days of that vintage need to be
checked for water in the rudder and water in the decks, also
look at the keel. There does not seem to be any other weak spots.
A survey will help you find any maintenance issues.
Good luck and welcome aboard.

Thanks njlarry I appreciate the welcome. It will be coming out of the water in a week or two for the season so I will inspect the rudder. I gave the bottom a good going over last year .... it took me a year to close the deal haha!
