good morning, I have just purchased a '76 model C&C 25' sail boat. It is moored in mission bay, san diego. I look forward to lots of learning and I hope sharing of worthwhile information.

The C&C 25 was first built because of the success of the C&C designed Mirage 24, which was a very good sailing boat of her day in most wind conditions. The C&C 25 wanted to have similar sailing characteristics and speed with more room. Hence the original boats had similar swept back keels, but later models changed all around. Back then, when your boat was built, they were good, quality boats and C&C touted their patented hull to deck joint as being the best in the industry. Enjoy your vessel.
Easily one of the best looking 25 footers built. Enjoy her. In SAN you are going to a have a big genny; what is your biggest headsail? If you don't plan on using a spinnaker, make sure you have a whisker pole for the genny downwind.
