A MAST FOR GPS, TV AND VHF

I have one Hunter 310 and I am looking to instal a mast on the back of the boat for the GPS,VHF and TV, in order to avoid the inconvenience to go to the top of the mast. Anyone with experience of this??? Such as, position? Dimentions? and working results? Tks José

VHF Range

Your GPS will be okay as low as you like, mine is on the pushpit; but the VHF range will be much reduced if the antenna is low. The VHF signal is "line of sight" and the range in miles to the horizon will be 2.2 X Sqrt(antenna height) in metres, now add the same calculation for the other antenna to get total range. The TV reception will also depend on the range from the nearby station and the higher the better.
