Hello! I've got an '82 C38 and the main salon hatch is leaking. It's an old Bomar, looks like steel, flanged jobber. I assume it's the original... I'd rather not replace the whole thing if possible, looking to just swap out the lid. Any thoughts or ideas on where/how to get ahold of one? All my internet searches have returned nada so far...

This should be the gasket, or are you sure the acrylic/seal is leaking?
We could replace the acrylic if you're willing to mail in the lid.
I haven't torn into it yet, but the fact that the lid is rimmed with duct tape is a bit of a tell... I like the idea of sending the lid in for a re-build. Tho gotta weigh the cost/benefit.
