Interesting. From looking at his boat he has some interesting stuff on it. Definitely a lot more things to tweak performance than my 310. ;)

Once set they do not need to be adjusted. But it would allow for some fine trimming.

They are cheek blocks mounted on a track which enables them to be positioned at the desired location. They are for the reefing lines on the mainsail. The lines are dead ended on the other side of the boom, fed through the reefing cringles at the leech end of the sail and then fed through these cheek blocks to be run forward to their respective cleats.
