Finally got a call from the Salvage Yard, and out of the blue, they gave me an a/c that came from a Trojan boat!

Now: where is the best place?
And by looking at it, what is missing?
I thought the compartment at the bottom pf the V berth, in that triangle, is the best place

Where did you put yours, if you have a H33 ?

Looks like the thermostat and fan controls are in the truck bed, so ya need a seawater pump and the other external installation things like a dedicated electrical breaker and ducts and registers.. Looks like a good unit..

Where are the user controls that mount on in the cabin somewhere so you can control the unit? looks like a thermostat panel in most cases with a 2 diget number display.

Bill and Claude are right, we don't see a thermostat nor a seawater pump with hoses. We do see a right side air discharge(like mine) and a huge plenum, the thing with holes for directing air into multiple ducts. I doubt you will find space enough where you can use that. You could try to find a space in the salon(under the sink?) where that discharge could go directly into the salon(like mine). Our boat's interiors are small enough that duct work only takes valuable storage space. And it is hard to run ducts.

Naturally you will fully test the unit before trying to install it. :)

Can't read the labels on the control knobs. Is it possible there is no thermostat but just manual on/off? Or is one of those knobs "temperature"? The thing to the left is the plenum that I wrote about above.

I trekked to the yard looking for a seawater pump, but do not know what it looks like: there is a lot of stuff there, I suspect this was a smuggler's boat, because it has secret panels and all kinds of suspicious things... a picture would help me look for the pump... thanks!

It's raining here ( miracle!) but when it's over I will go and see what the control box says... what names are on it

Air Conditioner

Jorge, here is another picture of a pump that came with my Cruiseair air conditioiner. You should be able to trace the water hose back to the pump from the compartment where the unit was mounted. These are not self priming so they have to be mounted below the waterline.
